Hello

Andy Au is a multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges the gap between traditional tactile craftsmanship and modern digital media. Andy has utilized art as a vital bridge for communication, using his unique perspective to expand his boundaries and connect with the world around him.

His artistic foundation was built through a diverse exploration of forms during his time in community college, ranging from 3D disciplines such as paper-mâché and origami to 2D traditional media, including acrylics, watercolors, and intricate ink drawings. This allowed him to develop a keen eye for color and graphic sketching, laying the groundwork for his transition into the digital realm.

Andy first learned to utilize digital media art to create vector graphics and digital illustrations for advertisements, clip art, and complex figures. In motion videos or animation, he incorporated his own digital creations into a video about positive activities to do during the pandemic. His photography captures visuals of various types, such as landscapes, portraits, wildlife, and more, spanning from emotional connection, intent, perspective, storytelling, and symbolism.

Today, Andy is an active member of the arts community, dedicated to using his wide-ranging skills to tell stories that resonate and to continue refining his reputation as a professional artist.
